Support a specific cause
This is a community-led night, not a generic gala. Funds go to blood cancer research, nurse education and patient care on Ward C5A, where Pauline Fallance was treated.
Sponsorship Prospectus 2027
The Bloody Cells Ball grew out of years of St Gerard’s community fundraising for Westmead’s C5A ward, lifted into a black-tie night by the Fallance family and friends in 2021. Three Balls and $420,000+ later, partners help fund blood cancer research, nurse education and patient care on Ward C5A through Westmead Hospital Foundation.

Cumulative impact

raised across three Bloody Cells Balls for Westmead
The first Ball raised $150,000. The 2025 event added $140,799.90. Every chapter has done one thing: turn a room of guests and sponsors into funding for blood cancer research, nurse education and patient care on Ward C5A.
Why sponsor
Sponsorship does two things at once: funds a hospital community we’re already part of, and puts your brand in front of 500 guests who showed up for the cause.
This is a community-led night, not a generic gala. Funds go to blood cancer research, nurse education and patient care on Ward C5A, where Pauline Fallance was treated.
Sponsors appear across stadium screens, media walls, event programs, tables, auction moments, professional photography and post-event content.
The room brings together business owners, corporate leaders, healthcare supporters, families and a loyal community that keeps returning.

The evening
Every part of the night is a place sponsors can host guests, be visible, and back the cause.
What your support helps fund
Every dollar raised by the Ball goes through Westmead Hospital Foundation. Pauline Fallance, whose family started the Ball, was treated on Ward C5A.
Funding research and clinical trials that improve how blood cancers are treated, through Westmead Hospital Foundation.
Courses, certifications and conference travel for the C5A nurses, so the team keeps building the expertise that defines care on the ward.
Equipment and direct support for patients on C5A, where Pauline Fallance was treated. The 2025 Ball funded a new patient blood fridge and recliner chairs for patient rooms.
